　2020年7月22日、英国王室のエディンバラ公爵フィリップ王子殿下（His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh）の英国陸軍 ザ・ライフルズ（The Rifles） の名誉連隊長【カーネル・イン・チーフ】（Colonel-in-Chief）退任の小式典と、コーンウォール公爵夫人カミラ妃殿下（Camilla ： Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall）による就任の小式典がそれぞれ別の場所でおこなわれました。

　フィリップ王子殿下の名誉連隊長在任は67年間に及ぶものでした。

英国女王エリザベス2世陛下が、キャプテン・トム【“サー”・トーマス・モア大尉（トム・ムーア大尉）】を騎士に叙任（2020年7月）ベアトリス王女殿下夫妻は結婚式よりもキャプテン・トムの報道を優先させる配慮

　2020年7月17日、キャプテン・トム（Captain Tom）こと、“サー”・トーマス・モア大尉（Captain Sir Thomas Moore）が、英国女王エリザベス2世陛下（Elizabeth II ： Her Majesty The Queen）より騎士（ナイト ： Knight）に叙任されました。

　キャプテン・トムは第二次世界大戦に従軍した退役軍人で、今年、新型コロナウイルス感染症対策における医療従事者のための募金活動で有名となり、士官学校（？）から上級の軍人の名誉階級を授与されたり、マイケル・ボールとデュエットしたユール・ネヴァー・ウォーク・アローン（You’ll Never Walk Alone）が全英シングルチャート1位を獲得したり、といわゆる一躍時の人になった状態になっています。
　また、英国王室のベアトリス王女殿下（ヨーク公爵家）とエドアルド・マペッリ・モッツィ氏が騎士叙任同日に結婚式を挙式していますが、殿下らはキャプテン・トムの報道を優先させたいとして式の写真などの報道関係者への配布を翌日以降にする意向を示したそうです（いまいち守られていないような気もしますが）。

結婚式（2020年7月17日）：英国王室のベアトリス王女殿下（ヨーク公爵家）とエドアルド・マペッリ・モッツィ氏が結婚

　2020年7月17日、英国王室のヨーク公爵家ベアトリス王女殿下（Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York）と、エドアルド・マペッリ・モッツィ氏（Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi）の結婚式がおこなわれた模様です。

　挙式は当初、今年【2020年】5月に予定されていましたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行のため、延期されていました。

　式には英国女王エリザベス2世陛下（Elizabeth II ： Her Majesty The Queen）およびエディンバラ公爵フィリップ王子殿下（His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh）ら近親が参列したとのことです。

　結婚に伴い、王室からの発表などにおけるベアトリス王女殿下の表記が変更されるものと思われます。

　2020年1月28日、バーレーン王ハマド・ビン・イーサ・アル・ハリーファ陛下（His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain）は、70歳を迎えました。

　バーレーン通信（Bahrain News Agency）は、英国女王エリザベス2世陛下（Elizabeth II ： Her Majesty The Queen）およびロシア連邦大統領ウラジーミル・ウラジーミロヴィチ・プーチン閣下（His Excellency Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin）から祝電があったことを伝えています。
　この二者（二国）以外からも祝福はあったと思うので、バーレーンにとって英国とロシアが重要であることを示していると思います。
　一方、アメリカ合衆国大統領ドナルド・J・トランプ閣下（The Honorable Donald J. Trump）からの祝電は報じられておらず、これは送られてこなかったということなのでしょう。
