　2018年10月31日～11月8日にかけて、英国王室【イギリス王室】のウェールズ公チャールズ皇太子殿下（Prince Charles ： His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales）とコーンウォール公爵夫人カミラ妃殿下（Camilla ： Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall）は、ガンビア共和国、ガーナ共和国、ナイジェリア連邦共和国を訪問する予定だそうです。

　10月31日に、ガンビア共和国に到着。ガンビア共和国大統領アダマ・バロウ閣下（His Excellency Adama Barrow）の出迎えを受けます。

　11月2日に、ガーナ共和国に到着。ガーナ共和国大統領ナナ・アド・ダンクワ・アクフォ＝アド閣下（His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo）らの出迎えを受けます。
　両殿下は同国第二の都市クマシのマンヒヤ宮殿【マンヒア宮殿】を訪問し、アシャンティ王オトゥムフォ・オセイ・トゥトゥ2世陛下（アシャンティ皇帝 ： His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, King【Emperor】 of the Ashanti Kingdom【Empire of Ashanti】【Asantehene of Asante】, Kumasehene of Kumasi）と会見予定。

　11月6日、ナイジェリア連邦共和国に到着。ナイジェリア連邦共和国大統領ムハンマド・ブハリ閣下（His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR）の出迎えを受けます。
　同国では、伝統的君主、経営者、芸術・ファッション関係者、軍関係者、慈善事業関係者との会見が予定されています。

　チャールズ皇太子殿下が英連邦の次期元首に決定（2018年4月）して以降、その構成国を訪問するのは初めてです。
　また、両殿下のガンビア訪問は初となるようです。
