訃報（2023年1月10日）：旧ギリシャ王コンスタンティノス2世が崩御（1940～2023）

　2023年1月10日、（旧）ギリシャ王コンスタンティノス2世陛下（Constantine II of Greece ： His Majesty The King of the Hellenes : デンマーク王子 ： Prince of Denmark）が、ギリシャ共和国アテネで崩御しました。
　1940年6月2日生まれの82歳。

　1964年から1973年の王政廃止までギリシャ王として統治。
　妻はデンマーク王室出身の（旧）ギリシャ王妃アンナ＝マリア陛下（Anne-Marie ： Her Majesty The Queen of the Hellenes, Princess of Denmark）で、コンスタンティノス2世自身もデンマーク王家の男系男子。

　崩御に伴い、長男の（旧）ギリシャ皇太子パウロス殿下（デンマーク王子 ： His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, Prince of Denmark）が、ギリシャ王位の継承者およびギリシャ王室当主となります。

 

　デンマークのアマリエンボー宮殿の国旗は半旗に。
　国際オリンピック委員会（IOC）とギリシャ・オリンピック委員会は、パナシナイコ・スタジアムに旗を掲揚。

　2023年1月16日、アテネの生神女福音大聖堂（Metropolitan Cathedral of the Annunciation ： ミトロポリス大聖堂 ： Metropolis【Mitropoli】 ： 府主教大聖堂 ： Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens）にて葬儀がおこなわれ、タトイ宮殿の王室墓地に埋葬されました。
　キリスト教／東方正教会／ギリシャ正教会首座／アテネ・全ギリシャ大主教イエロニモス2世座下（His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece and Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece）が司式。
