　2021年2月12日、ソマリアから事実上独立しているソマリランド共和国の伝統的君主、イサックの大スルタンモハメド・アブディカディル陛下（Mahamed Abdiqadir, Grand Sultan of the Isaaq Sultanate ： ムハンマド・アブドゥルカディール・アブドゥライ ： Sultan Mohamed Sultan Abdulkadir Sultan Abdullahi）が崩御したようです。

婚約（2020年12月）：メクレンブルク公世子アレクサンダー殿下とハンデ・マシット嬢

　2020年12月20日、メクレンブルク公世子アレクサンダー殿下（Duke Alexander of Mecklenburg ： His Highness The Hereditary Prince）とハンデ・マシット嬢（Hande Macit）が婚約したようです。

　アレクサンダー殿下は、メクレンブルク＝シュトレーリッツ系統の当主ボルヴィン殿下の長男で継嗣です。
　ハンデ・マシット嬢は、トルコ出身で、オランダの市民権を取得しているようです。

　新型コロナウイルス感染症【COVID-19】の影響もあり、各々の両親への報告はビデオ通話でおこなわれたようです。

　オマーン国のスルタン【国王】となった “サイイド”・ハイサム・ビン・ターリク・アル・サイード陛下（His Majesty Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman）が、出した勅令に、継承法と皇太子の任命に関するものが含まれています。

　これにより長男の文化・スポーツ・青年大臣 “サイイド”・ジーヤザン・ビン・ハイサム・アル・サイード殿下（His Highness Sayyid Theyazin【Dhi Yazan】 bin Haitham al-Said）が同国初の皇太子に任命されたと幅広く報道がなされました。

　しかし、一番最初の記事でも出したオマーン公営のオマーン通信（の英語版）配信記事では、ジーヤザン殿下に Crown Prince 表記をする記事が出ず、なんとも落ち着かない状況です。

　2月に入った記事でもこれまでと同様、大臣の肩書の記事が出るのみで、また中東君主家同士の外交上によくある各国の皇太子同士がちょっとしたことで挨拶を送りあうという行動も見られません。

　簡単に言えば、いまだ公式にも周辺国にもジーヤザン殿下を皇太子として扱う動きが見られません。

　これがどういうことなのかよくわかりませんが、すっきりしないことは確かです。

 

　また、気が早い人の中には、ジーヤザン殿下に対して「HRH（His Royal Highness）」表記を使うケースもありますが、いまだオマーン通信ではジーヤザン殿下の敬称表記は「HH（His Highness）」のままです。
