　2019年3月26日、バーレーン王国の“シャイフ”・イーサ・ビン・サルマン・ビン・ハマド・アル・ハリーファ殿下（His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa）は、同王国を訪問した英国王室のヨーク公爵アンドルー王子殿下（Prince Andrew ： His Royal Highness The Duke of York）と会見しました。
　海軍の施設を視察したようです。

　イーサ・ビン・サルマン殿下は、バーレーン皇太子サルマン・ビン・ハマド・ビン・イーサ・アル・ハリーファ王子殿下（サルマーン皇太子 ： His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain）の長男で、将来的にバーレーン国王となる可能性は極めて高い（継承法で定められた順位によればそうなりますが、国王は別の息子を皇太子に指名できるので、100%ではないです）のですが、前にも書いた通り同王国では王子（プリンス）は二人しかいない（国王の長男の皇太子と、国王の叔父の首相）ので、将来の国王といえど王子ではありません。

ジョージア王女【グルジア王女】アナ殿下が父でグルジンスキー系当主のヌグザル殿下と共に、元夫で対立するムフラニ系当主のダヴィト殿下を「王室の代表者を勝手に名乗るのをやめよ」と提訴（2019年3月）ダヴィト殿下がエリザベス2世陛下に授与した勲章（鳩山(元)総理も授与されているとの噂あり）が一定金額寄付すれば誰でも入手できる説や、ダヴィト殿下側が弁護士がヌグザル殿下を「ジョージア正教会【グルジア正教会】によるDNA検査の結果バグラチオン王朝の一員でないとわかった」（検査機関は否定）とするなど泥沼総決算の予感

　二人は王朝の統合のために結婚し、一子・ジョージア王子ギオルギ殿下（His Royal Highness Prince Giorgi of Georgia ： ギオルギ・バグラチオン・バグラチオニ・ムフラン・バトニシュヴィリ王子 ： Prince Giorgi Bagration Bagrationi Mukhran Batonishvili ： ギオルギ・バグラチオニ＝ムフラネリ公子 ： Prince Giorgi Bagrationi-Mukhraneli ： ギオルギ・バグラチオン＝ムフランスキー公子 ： Prince Giorgi Bagration-Moukhransky）を儲けていますが、その後離婚しています。

　また、アナ殿下はその前の結婚により二女を儲けているとされます（追記：ヌグザル殿下系のサイトでは二女子とも王女となっています）。
　ヌグザル殿下は現在、当主は後継者を指名できるとしています。ムフラニ側が立場を譲らないならば、アナ殿下の後は、殿下の二人の娘のどちらか（なにせすでに王女にしているので）を後継者と指名するだろうことを示唆しています。

 

　今回の提訴は、長年の対立の末ではありますが、「ヌグザル殿下側の許可なしにダヴィト殿下が王室の代表者であるようなことをいっているのをやめるよう要求する」もののようです。

 

　記事で取り上げられている件のひとつは（前々から話の出ている）、ダヴィト殿下が英国女王エリザベス2世陛下に授与（グロスター公爵リチャード王子殿下夫妻が代理で受け取ったもの）したジョージア鷲騎士団のグランド・カラーが、約3000ポンド（＝約44万円）の寄付をすれば誰にでも手に入る疑惑です。

　なお、記事とは関係なく、また日本の鳩山由紀夫(元)総理など政治家が同騎士団の叙任を受けているという話もあります（階級や、買ったのか無料で貰ったのかなどまったくわかりません）。

 

　さらに、ダヴィト殿下側弁護士が、「ジョージア正教会【グルジア正教会】がおこなったDNA検査」によって、ヌグザル殿下らはバグラチオン王朝の一員でない（男系でない）ことが証明されたという主張をしているようですが、これに対し、検査機関がこれを否定（そもそもその検査機関は教会と関係ないとのコメント）。
　DNAによる否定をしてくるというのは、王室関連では一番のタブーですが、提訴直後でこの状況では、どこまで泥沼化するのかわかったものではありません。

 

　はたして、キリスト教／東方正教会／ジョージア正教会【グルジア正教会】の首座／全ジョージアのカトリコス＝総主教イリア2世聖下（イリヤ2世 ： His Holiness Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia）が夢見る王政復古はこれで潰えてしまうのか。聖下の健康状態を含めて予断を許さない状況となってきました。

 

追記：
　上記以外にも、ダヴィト殿下によるアナ殿下への暴力疑惑（DV疑惑）など、ダヴィト殿下の個人的な信頼感の失墜は避けられない状況です（追記：ダヴィト殿下はジョージアを出国したようです）。

　ムフラニ系男系男子による王政復古は、不可能となった感があり、ギオルギ殿下の成人を待たずして、もはや大部分の人々の熱は冷めてしまっています。

　しかしグルジンスキー系の主張通りに、いきなりの女子→女系可能（アナ殿下の長女イリナ・バグラチオニ＝グルジンスキー嬢）による継承はバグラチオン王朝の復古とも受け止めにくいという前提もあります。

　東方正教会自体が、コンスタンティノープルのいい加減な行動により教会分裂に突入しており、王政復古を支援するどころではなくなっています。ジョージア正教会もイリア2世聖下を最後に王政復古に積極的な首座を迎えることはないでしょう。

　以上のことから、ジョージア王政復古の可能性は潰えたのではないかと判断していいでしょう。

　とはいえ、王政復古がなかろうと、王室は一定の権威を持つものであり、その王室当主としての役割は将来的に誰が担うことになるのか。
　ダヴィト殿下がジョージア国内に戻らないとするならば、グルジンスキー系統が正統な王室とされていくでしょう。ヌグザル殿下、アナ殿下の次は、アナ殿下の一回目の結婚の第一子・長女のイリナ・バグラチオニ＝グルジンスキー嬢、第二子・次女のマリアム・バグラチオニ＝グルジンスキー嬢、二回目の結婚で長男のギオルギ殿下の誰かということになりますが、イリナ嬢もまだ未成年であり、本人がどの程度興味を持っているかということすらわかりません。
