アーガー・ハーン4世は、英国の故エリザベス2世より、一代限りで殿下（His Highness）の敬称を受けており、またその先代も殿下の敬称を受けています。
現在の英国王チャールズ3世陛下が後継者に対して殿下の敬称を授けるかどうかはわかりません。

2024年10月15日、ルーマニア王室当主／ルーマニア王位守護者マルガレータ陛下（Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Crown of Romania ： ルーマニア皇太子マルガレータ殿下 ： Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Margareta of Romania）と夫のルーマニア王子ラドゥ殿下（His Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania）は、ルーマニアを訪問したイタリア王室（アオスタ系統）当主／サヴォイア公・アオスタ公爵アイモーネ殿下（His Royal Highness Prince Aimone of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Savoy and Aosta ： His Royal Highness The Duke of Savoy, The Duke of Aosta）と会見しました。
陛下の妹のルーマニア王女ソフィア殿下（Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia【Sophie】 of Romania）が同席。
ルーマニア王室の公式ウェブサイトでは、アイモーネ殿下の称号について「Duce de Aosta」（アオスタ公爵）のみの表記であり、イタリア王室当主（＝サヴォイア公）と認めているわけではないようです（前々からの立場）。
