世論調査：60%以上のカナダ人が次のカナダ総督にヘンリー王子殿下が任命されることに賛成との報道（2020年1月）英国王室のサセックス公爵ヘンリー王子殿下【ハリー王子】の「‘senior’ members」から離れるとの宣言を受けて

　　英国女王エリザベス2世陛下（Elizabeth II ： Her Majesty The Queen）は、カナダ女王でもありますが、カナダには普段いないのでカナダ総督が任命されています。
　サセックス公爵ヘンリー王子殿下（Prince Henry ： ハリー王子 ： Prince Harry ： His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex）とサセックス公爵夫人メーガン妃殿下（Meghan ： Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex）が王室の「‘senior’ members」（中心メンバー？）から離れ英国と北米を行き来すると発表したことを受けて、カナダでは世論調査がおこなわれ、60%以上のカナダ人が、現在のカナダ総督ジュリー・ペイエット閣下（Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada）の次の総督にヘンリー王子殿下が任命されることに賛成したようです。
　ケベック州ですら47%が賛成という……。

※なお、王室側やカナダ政府でそのような案が検討された／検討されているという話は今のところ出ていません。

　余談ですが今回の離脱騒動に「Megxit」（メグジット？ メググジット？）という単語が使われるケースがあるようです。
