　内容は、スイスのジュネーヴにて、ルクセンブルク大公妃マリア・テレサ殿下（Maria Teresa ： Her Royal Highness The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg）の弟ルイス・メストレ氏が入っている ICU のベッドサイドでこの文章を書いているということから始まり、首相のグザヴィエ・ベッテル閣下から提案のあった大公妃殿下に関する調査を許したこと、その調査報告書が提出される前に大公妃殿下に関する否定的な報道がなされたことを強く非難するもの、大公妃殿下のこれまでの活動をたたえるもの、これからもあなた方に奉仕し続けること（退位などありえないということでしょう）が書かれています。

　なお、報道では（とこのタイミングで書くとなんですが）、調査にあたっていたジャノ・ワリンゴ氏（Jeannot Waringo）から首相へは報告書が先週の金曜日に提出されており、その後週末にアンリ殿下にその内容が伝わるはずだなどとなっていますが、今回の文章では報告に関しては触れられておらず、伝わっているかはわかりません。

　また、この記事の公開後、ツイッターとフェースブックにそれぞれこの記事へのリンクのある投稿が追加されましたが、どちらも削除されました（現在は写真を減らし再度投稿されています）。
　削除されたのは、どちらも、四人の写真の他は、ローマ・カトリック教会の司教らと会見する三枚の写真が添付されたもので、正直削除理由がよくわかりません。
　退位うんぬんはともかく、大公室が少し落ち着きがないのは確かなようです。
