　2020年1月21日、オルレアン派フランス王室当主のパリ伯ジャン殿下（Jean ： Monseigneur The Count of Paris ： オルレアン派フランス王位継承者ジャン4世 ： Titular King Jean IV of France）は、ルイ16世死後227周年となることにより、メッセージを発出、鎮魂ミサに臨席しました。
　支持者の中には先代のパリ伯アンリ(7世)殿下の薨去1周年となることで、盛り上げるというかなんというかの野望を見せていた人たちもいたのですが、今のところそういったことがあったような記事などは見受けられず（正統派とぶつからないように今週末にやるのかもしれませんが）、ジャン殿下のメッセージと礼拝の白黒写真が掲載されているのみです。

　メッセージの中では、先祖たちの罪の犠牲者に対して赦しを求める部分があり、とりわけオルレアン公爵ルイ＝フィリップ＝ジョゼフ（ルイ16世の処刑に賛成した人物）の名が挙げられています。

ナイジェリア／クワラ州で、王を称したサンデー・アヤントラ首長という人物に有罪判決（2020年1月）

　2020年1月22日、ナイジェリア連邦共和国クワラ州の高等裁判所は、イウォイエ王陛下（His Royal Majesty, Obaoye of Iwoye）を称したサンデー・アヤントラ首長（Chief Sunday Ayantola）という人物に有罪判決を出したようです。

※量刑が「sentenced to one year non-custodial imprisonment.」となっていて、なんだかいまいちわかりませんが……。保護観察みたいなものでしょうか。

　ナイジェリア連邦共和国クワラ州のオケ＝エロ地方行政区の中にアイエドゥン王国（Ayedun kingdom）というものがあり、そこの王がオルセグン・ロティミ陛下（His Royal Majesty Dr Olusegun Rotimi, Obajisun of Ayedun）というらしいですが、その王が、有罪になった人物を、

installed him as his second-in-command.

　補佐役というのか副王というのか、ともかく自分の次席となる高い地位に就けたところ、思い上がったのかどうかはわかりませんが、次席に就いた人物が自分は王だと主張し始めたということのようです。
　それでコミュニティが混乱したそうですが、記事を読んでいる当方も「なぜそんなことで混乱するのか」と混乱しております。

Evidence before me is that Ayedun kingdom is made up three wards which are Ikotun, Iwoye, and Odo-Ila, and Iwoye is just a ward or quarter in Ayedun under the Obajisun.

　裁判官によると、アイエドゥン王国は、イコトゥン、イウォイエ、オド＝イラの三区画で構成されており、イウォイエはアイエドゥンの中の区画のひとつにすぎない（のでイウォイエには王様はいない）ということです。
　それは……そうなのかもしれませんが、そういう問題なのかということと、あと王国に三区画しかないんですかという感想がわきます。もっとも、ナイジェリアではよくあることなんだろうなあという気もします。
