2024年11月13日、英国の第14代マセリーン子爵ジョン・スケフィントン閣下（John Skeffington, 14th Viscount Massereene ： The Right Honourable The Viscount Massereene）が卒去した模様です。
1940年6月3日生まれの84歳。
マセリーン子爵以外にも複数の爵位を保有していました。
卒去に伴い、長男のチャールズ・スケフィントン閣下（The Honourable Charles Skeffington）が各爵位を継承。また、さらにその長男のジェームス・スケフィントン閣下（The Honourable James Skeffington）が法廷推定相続人である継嗣となっています。
