2018年8月31日、オランダ王ウィレム＝アレクサンダー陛下（Willem-Alexander ： His Majesty The King of the Netherlands）は、アフガニスタンでの軍事行動における英雄的活動をたたえ、ロイ・デ・ライター空軍少佐（Major-Flyer Roy de Ruiter）を軍事ウィレム騎士団（Military William Order）の騎士に叙任しました。
同騎士団は、オランダ君主を総長とするもので、生存している叙任された騎士はこれで四名となります。
オランダ王妃マクシマ陛下（Máxima ： Her Majesty the Queen of the Netherlands）も臨席。
