2020年7月22日、英国王室のエディンバラ公爵フィリップ王子殿下(His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh)の英国陸軍 ザ・ライフルズ(The Rifles) の名誉連隊長【カーネル・イン・チーフ】(Colonel-in-Chief)退任の小式典と、コーンウォール公爵夫人カミラ妃殿下(Camilla : Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall)による就任の小式典がそれぞれ別の場所でおこなわれました。
フィリップ王子殿下の名誉連隊長在任は67年間に及ぶものでした。
