訃報（2021年7月21日）：英国の第9代アントリム伯爵アレクサンダー・マクドネル閣下が薨去（1935～2021）

　2021年7月21日、英国のアイルランド貴族／第9代アントリム伯爵アレクサンダー・マクドネル閣下（Alexander McDonnell, 9th Earl of Antrim, FRSA ： アントリム卿 ： Lord Antrim）が薨去した模様です。
　1935年2月3日生まれの86歳。

　薨去に伴い、子息のダンルース子爵ランダル・マクドネル（Randal McDonnell, Viscount Dunluce）が第10代伯爵となります。
　また、その子息のアレクサンダー・マクドネルが儀礼称号として新たにダンルース子爵を称するでしょう。

　なお、現在のアントリム伯爵の男系は、ロージアン侯爵などを保有するケアー家の傍系なので、同侯爵位などの継承順位に並んでいます。

　公爵は1981年生まれ、アナベル・グリーン嬢は1989年生まれ。

訃報（2019年8月29日）：英国の第10代ロクスバラ公爵ガイ・イネス＝カー閣下が薨去（1954～2019）

　2019年8月29日、英国のスコットランド貴族／第10代ロクスバラ公爵ガイ・イネス＝カー閣下（Guy Innes-Ker, 10th Duke of Roxburghe ： His Grace The Duke of Roxburghe）が薨去したようです。
　1954年11月18日生まれの64歳。
　2009年より食道癌との闘病が続いていました。

　薨去に伴い、ボウモント・セスフォード侯爵を称していた長男のチャールズ・イネス＝カー（Charles Innes-Ker, Marquess of Bowmont and Cessford）が第11代公爵となります。

Issued on behalf of the Innes Ker family and Roxburghe Estates, 29th August 2019 The family of the 10th Duke of Roxburghe are sad to announce that the Duke has today died following a lengthy battle with cancer. Guy Innes Ker died peacefully at his family’s ancestral home, Floors Castle, near Kelso, in the Scottish Borders. He is survived by Virginia, the Duchess of Roxburghe, five children and five grandchildren. The Duke’s eldest son, Charles, the Marquis of Bowmont, will succeed his father as the 11th Duke of Roxburghe. The family issued the following statement: “We are all deeply saddened that the Duke has lost his battle with an illness he fought with great courage and determination. He was a wonderful and loving husband to Virge and devoted father to Rosie, Charlie, Ted, Bella and George and it is a desperate loss to us all. His family meant so much to him and he was always there to offer love, guidance and support. He really was a Corinthian figure who was a great sportsman, a passionate fisherman who made a huge contribution to fisheries management on the river Tweed and a successful businessman who modernised and turned Roxburghe Estates into the successful business it is today. He took particular pride in seeing the work he and Virge had undertaken to establish Floors Castle and Gardens as one of the premier visitor attractions in Scotland. He derived enormous success and enjoyment from racing and the thoroughbred stud at Floors including breeding the first double Classic winner Attraction in the early 2000s. We know he will be missed by so many in different spheres in particular by those staff and farm tenants on the Roxburghe Estates. We are extremely grateful for the outstanding medical care the Duke received at the Brompton Hospital in London and at home by the Borders palliative care team led by Dr Miller and supported by the Scottish Nursing Guild.” There will be a private family funeral and a memorial service to be announced in due course. 訃報（2018年5月？）：ジョン・ケアー卿、薨去（1927？～2018）英国の第12代ロージアン侯爵の弟か？

　Telegraph Announcements に、ジョン・ケアー卿（Lord John Kerr）の訃報が掲載されています。

　薨去日及びその他不明ですが、故・第12代ロージアン侯爵ピーター閣下の弟とみられています。
　情報が正しいとすると、1927年7月4日生まれの90歳。

　兄弟の父は侯爵ではなく、ピーター閣下は父の従兄の第11代ロージアン侯爵フィリップ閣下より爵位を継承していますので、本来は侯爵の継嗣以外の息子としての卿（ロード ： Lord）を着けて呼ばれませんが、兄の爵位継承後の翌年1941年に卿を称することが許されたようです。

 

婚約発表（2018年4月）：ジェイミー・ケアー氏とオリヴィア・デイ嬢。ジェイミー・ケアー氏は、英国の第13代ロージアン侯爵の甥で、父が侯爵位継承順位第1位

　ジェイミー・ケアー氏（Jamie Kerr ： ジェイミー・カー ： フレデリック・ジェームズ・ケアー）とオリヴィア・デイ嬢（Olivia Day）の婚約が発表されました。

　ジェイミー・ケアー氏は、1989年生まれ。
　マイケル・アンクラム（Michael Ancram）こと英国のスコットランド貴族／第13代ロージアン侯爵マイケル・ケアー閣下（Michael Kerr, 13th Marquess of Lothian ： The Most Honourable The Marquess of Lothian PC QC）の甥で、父が侯爵位継承順位第1位のロージアン総領ラルフ・ケアー卿（Lord Ralph Kerr, Master of Lothian）です（ジェイミー氏は次男）。

　オリヴィア・デイ嬢は、1991年生まれのようです。
