1939年6月8日生まれの81歳。
ゲディミナス王朝の系統のチャルトリスキ家出身で、1996年～2001年にノルウェー王国とアイスランド共和国駐箚のポーランド共和国特命全権大使を務めていたようです。

オマーン国の皇太子となったと報道されたスルタン【国王】ハイサム陛下の長男／文化・スポーツ・青年大臣 “サイイド”・ジーヤザン・ビン・ハイサム・アル・サイード殿下（His Highness Sayyid Theyazin【Dhi Yazan】 bin Haitham Al Said）が、従妹の“サイイダ”・メイヤン・ビント・シハーブ・アル・サイード殿下（Her Highness Sayyida Meyyan bint Shihab Al Said）と婚約したそうです。
メイヤン殿下の父は国防担当副首相“サイイド”・シハーブ・ビン・ターリク・アル・サイード殿下（His Highness Sayyid Shihab Bin Tariq Al Said）で、いくつかの情報によればスルタンと同母の兄弟だそうです。
これによりジーヤザン殿下とメイヤン殿下は父方が完全な いとこ同士 ということになりますが、一方母方からも いとこ同士 になるようです。またその母方の家系もサイード王朝の創始者アフマド・ビン・サイード・アル・ブーサイーディーに連なるということで、なかなか強い同族婚ということになるでしょう。
