2025年5月12日～16日（？）、ガーナ共和国の伝統的首長で、アシャンティ王国のマンポン公ダアセブレ・オセイ・ボンス2世（Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, Mamponghene）の一週間追悼式典がおこなわれました。
ダアセブレ・オセイ・ボンス2世は 4月20日 に薨去しています。

マンポン公の夫人であったジャネット・ドロシー・オウス＝セシェレ（Janet Dorothy Owusu-Sechere）、マハムドゥ・バウミア元・副大統領（Mahamudu Bawumia）、ガーナ共和国の国家首長会議議長／セフウィ＝アンウィワソ王オグイェアホホ・ヤウ・ギイェビ2世（Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II）など多数が参列。
また、マンポンのクイーン・マザーであるナナ・アグヤコマ・ディフィエ2世（Nana Agyakoma Difie II, Mamponhemaa【Queen mother of Mampong】）との会合後、アシャンティ王オトゥムフオ・オセイ・トゥトゥ2世陛下（アシャンティ皇帝 ： His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, King【Emperor】 of the Ashanti Kingdom【Empire of Ashanti】【Asantehene of Asante】, Kumasehene of Kumasi）は、マンポン公の葬儀を 6月6日～6月9日におこなうことを承認しました（最終日埋葬）。
