2022年10月29日、南アフリカ共和国の伝統的君主の一人、ズールー王ミスズールー・シンコビレ・カズウェリティニ陛下（His Majesty King Misuzulu Sinqobile kaZwelithini of Zulu）の戴冠式がおこなわれました。
4万人の参列との数字が出ていますが、スタジアムが埋まっているのは映像からわかります。
戴冠式中、南アフリカ共和国大統領マタメーラ・シリル・ラマポーザ閣下（Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa）より伝統的君主としての承認証明書が渡され、署名がおこなわれました。
同共和国、クワズールー・ナタール州首相ノムサ・デュベ・ヌクベ閣下（The Honourable Nomusa Dube-Ncube MPL）の挨拶があり、キリスト教／アングリカン・コミュニオンの南部アフリカ聖公会ケープタウン大主教タボ・マゴバ座下（The Most Reverend【His Eminence】 Dr Thabo Makgoba, Archbishop of Cape Town, Primate of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa）による陛下への聖別がおこなわれ、エスワティニ王ムスワティ3世陛下（His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini）の臨席と挨拶もありました。
