2019年8月17日、ブータン王ジグミ・ケサル・ナムゲル・ワンチュク陛下（Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck ： His Majesty The King of Bhutan）は、二日間の日程でブータン王国を公式訪問中のインド首相ナレンドラ・モディ閣下（The Honourable Mr Narendra Modi）と会見しました。
モディ閣下は、第四代（先代）のブータン王であるブータン王父ジグミ・シンゲ・ワンチュク陛下（King Jigme Singye Wangchuck ： His Majesty The King Father of Bhutan ： The Fourth Druk Gyalpo）とも会談。
また、第三代（先々代）のブータン王だった故ジグミ・ドルジ・ワンチュク陛下（Jigme Dorji Wangchuck）の王墓を参拝したようです。
His Majesty The King granted an Audience to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Throne Room of the Tashichhodzong today. The Prime Minister is on a 2-day State Visit to Bhutan.
