　エチオピア帝室評議会議長のエルミアス・サーレ＝セラシエ・ハイレ＝セラシエ皇子殿下（His Imperial Highness Prince Ermias Sahle-Selassie Haile-Selassie, President of the Crown Council of Ethiopia）が、ジャマイカを長期訪問しています。
　ナショナル・ヘリテージ・ウィークのスペシャル・ゲストだということです。

　ノーマン・マンレー国際空港では、文化・ジェンダー・娯楽・スポーツ大臣オリビア・グランジ閣下（The Honourable Olivia Grange MP）の出迎えを受け、以後大臣のツイッターに多数写真が掲載されていっているので、今回の接遇担当ということになるのでしょうか。

　後述しますが、ジャマイカの総督・要人からラスタファリ・コミュニティの人々らなどを含む多数の人々との会見があり、国立公園へのハイレ・セラシエ1世の像の設置などが合意されたり、ハイレ・セラシエ1世の影響力の強さはいまだ健在に見えます。
　また、キリスト教／エチオピア正教会の礼拝などにも参列したようです。

　訪問にはサバ・ケベデ妃（Princess Woizero Saba Kebede）や、帝室評議会の関係者が同行しています。
