誕生（2025年2月7日）：スウェーデン王女（スウェーデン王子カール・フィリップ殿下夫妻の第四子・長女）王位継承順位第8位。名前と称号は2月10日に発表予定

　2025年2月7日、スウェーデン王子カール・フィリップ殿下（ヴェルムランド公爵 ： His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, Duke of Värmland）とスウェーデン王子妃ソフィア殿下（ヴェルムランド公爵夫人 ： Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Sweden, Duchess of Värmland）の間の第四子・長女となるスウェーデン王女が誕生しました。

　スウェーデン王位継承順位は、伯母・いとこ二人・父・兄三人に次ぐ第8位。

　名前と称号は、2月10日（月曜日）情報閣議にて発表される模様。また、同日、テ・デウムもおこなわれます。
　なお、カール・フィリップ王子の三人の子供たちは、2019年から殿下（His Royal Highness）の敬称を用いなくなっているので、今回誕生した王女にも殿下の敬称はないものと思われます。

訃報（2025年2月1日）：英国の第11代サンドウィッチ伯爵ジョン・モンタギュー閣下が薨去（1943～2025）

　2025年2月1日、英国のイングランド貴族、第11代サンドウィッチ伯爵ジョン・モンタギュー閣下（John Montagu, 11th Earl of Sandwich ： The Right Honourable The Earl of Sandwich）が薨去したようです。
　1943年4月11日生まれの81歳。

　1999年貴族法以降も貴族院での議席を維持し、2024年に辞任。
　サンドウィッチチェーン店のアール・オブ・サンドウィッチ創業者の一人。

　薨去に伴い、長男のヒンチンブルック子爵ルーク・モンタギュー（Luke Montagu, Viscount Hinchingbrooke）が爵位を継承し、第12代サンドウィッチ伯爵となります。
　また、新伯爵の長男ウィリアム・モンタギューが新たにヒンチンブルック子爵の儀礼称号を帯びます。

　後継者はすでに決まっていますが、まだ公表されません。
　長男はラヒム・アーガー・ハーン公子（Prince Rahim Aga Khan）。
　アーガー・ハーン4世は、英国の故エリザベス2世より、一代限りで殿下（His Highness）の敬称を受けており、またその先代も殿下の敬称を受けています。
　現在の英国王チャールズ3世陛下が後継者に対して殿下の敬称を授けるかどうかはわかりません。

　2025年1月28日、英国の連合王国準男爵／サー・サイモン・ダニング準男爵【第3代】（Sir Simon Dunning, Bt ： 6th Baronet）が卒去したようです。
　1939年12月14日生まれの85歳。

　継嗣無しのため、卒去に伴い、同・準男爵位は消滅しました。
