1974年に、自らの息子の乳母が殺害された事件の中で失踪し、2016年に死亡認定された英国のアイルランド貴族／第7代ルーカン伯爵ジョン・ビンガム閣下（John Bingham, 7th Earl of Lucan ： The Right Honourable The Earl of Lucan ： ルーカン卿 ： Lord Lucan）ですが、このほど被害者の子息ニール・ベリマン氏（Neil Berriman）がオーストラリアで伯爵を発見したと主張しています。
