　2019年8月23日、インド首相ナレンドラ・モディ閣下（The Honourable Mr Narendra Modi）は、アラブ首長国連邦【UAE】の訪問（二日間）を開始し、8月24日に終了しました。
　アラブ首長国連邦軍副最高司令官／アブダビ皇太子“シャイフ【シェイク】”・ムハンマド・ビン・ザーイド・アル・ナヒヤーン殿下（モハメド皇太子 ： His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces）が会見し、勲章の授与がおこなわれたようです。

　今回気になることが二件あります。

　一つは、本来インド首相のカウンターパート（首相は首相と会見するのがメイン）であるアラブ首長国連邦（UAE）副大統領・首相／ドバイ首長“シャイフ【シェイク】”・ムハンマド・ビン・ラーシド・アル・マクトゥーム殿下（シェイク・モハメド ： His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler【Emir】 of Dubai）が、今回のモディ首相訪問に関連してどころか、最近の動静報道などが極めて少なくなっていることです。
　考えられることの一つは、妻の一人であるヨルダン王女のハヤー・ビント・アル・フセイン王女殿下（Her Royal Highness Princess Haya bint Al-Hussein）の国外脱出と訴訟合戦です。

　この件でハヤー殿下は女性の事件問題の一環である出来事として提訴をおこなっており、少なくとも裁判結果が出るまでは。西側諸国の政治家はドバイ首長と会談などはあまり望まないでしょう。
　また、女ひとり制御できなかったことも中東では大きなマイナス評価です。
　ヨルダン・ハシミテ王国との間に潜在的な問題を抱えてしまったということも、どう考えてもよろしくありません。

　もう一つ気になることとして、今回、アブダビ皇太子ムハンマド殿下とともにモディ首相との会談などに臨席した中に、アブダビ公室ナヒヤーン家の人間が少ない、ということが挙げられます。
　少し前までは、ずらーっと、ムハンマド殿下の同母弟・異母弟の大臣らが並ぶというありさまでしたが……この理由ははっきりいってまったくわかりません。

　ただ、ムハンマド皇太子殿下は、兄の大統領・アブダビ首長ハリーファ殿下の代行として事実上の国家元首の状態にあります（法的根拠なし）が、ドバイ首長が首相としての役割（少なくとも対外的な）を果たすのが（一時的なものかもしれませんが）難しくなっている以上、さらに首相の代行を務めることになってしまっているのかもしれません。オーバーワークのような気がしますが……。

　今しばらくの間 UAE の要人の中での権力構成に変化が生じているのか注目ですが、ただし、君主の位とその継承という観点からすると、さしたる影響はないのではないかという気がします（ UAE の滅亡でもなければ）。

　なお、ムハンマド殿下に同席した一族として、
　アラブ首長国連邦【UAE】副首相・大統領府大臣“シャイフ【シェイク】”・マンスール・ビン・ザーイド・アル・ナヒヤーン殿下（His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs）、
　“シャイフ【シェイク】”・ハーリド・ビン・ムハンマド・ビン・ザーイド・アル・ナヒヤーン殿下（His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Executive Committee）、
　の名が挙げられています。
　前者はムハンマド皇太子の同母弟、後者はムハンマド皇太子の長男であると思われます。
