ガーナ：アナン(元)国連事務総長閣下の国葬に、オランダのベアトリクス前女王陛下（王女殿下）とメイベル妃殿下、ノルウェー皇太子妃メッテ＝マリット殿下が臨席（2018年9月）棺が国旗に覆われ遺体の顔すら公開されなかったので議論に「彼は『黄金の剣』だから」説も

　2018年9月13日、ガーナ共和国政府主催で2018年8月18日に薨去した国際連合第7代事務総長コフィー・アナン閣下（His Excellency Mr【Dr？】 Kofi Annan）閣下の国葬がおこなわれたようです。

　西欧の王室からは、
　前オランダ女王ベアトリクス陛下（オランダ王女ベアトリクス殿下、オランニェ＝ナッサウ公女、リッペ＝ビースターフェルト公女 ： Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, Princess of Lippe-Biesterfeld）、
　オランニェ＝ナッサウ公子妃メイベル殿下（Her Royal Highness Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau）、

　なお、葬儀中、棺がずっと国旗に覆われていて、遺体の公開が顔すらもなかったことが、同地のSNSで話題になったようです。

※↑の記事では見出しがいかにもガーナ人が怒っているかのようですが、今までガーナの記事を読んできた経験からすると、ことはそんな簡単な問題ではないと思います。

　これについてのSNSでのやり取りの画像がコピペされており（しかもその内容の意味をはっきり解説していない！）、

Busummuru is one of the state swords of Asante.
Only the Busummuruhene and Asantehene are allowed to hold it.
Woman are not supposed to look at it.
It is a symbol of authority.
So he with that title means he is by the order of the Busummuru.

「なんで？　教えて？」
「ブスムルはアシャンティの剣の一つ
　ブスムル首長とアシャンティ王のみが握ることが許される。
　女はそれを見ることは禁止されている。
　権威の象徴なのだ。
　だから彼がブスムルの称号を帯びていることは、ブスムルのように扱われるということだ」

　……と事情を知らない人にはなんの回答にもなっていない文章が入っています。

　これを簡単にいうとこういうことでしょう。
　コフィー・アナン閣下は、2002年にアシャンティ王オトゥムフォ・オセイ・トゥトゥ2世陛下（アシャンティ皇帝 ： His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, King【Emperor】 of the Ashanti Kingdom【Empire of Ashanti】【Asantehene of Asante】, Kumasehene of Kumasi）より神聖なる黄金の剣の名前を称号として受けています。この称号はアナン閣下以外誰も受けたことがないものです。
　その剣の名前が「ブスムル」（上記の文章では Busummuru となっていますが、これまでの報道などでは「Busumuru」ないし「Busumro」）です。上の「Busummuruhene」とブスムルの末尾に「-hene」を付ける表記は初めて見ましたが、これは王や首長の称号を表しており、とりあえず「ブスムル首長」としておきました。
　そして、上の文章が正しいとすると、黄金の剣「ブスムル」は女が見ることは許されないものだということになり、だから「ブスムル」の称号を受けているアナン閣下の遺体を女がいる場で公開することはできないのだ、という二歩くらい跳躍がある理論が展開されているのだと思います。
　死後に称号をもらったならともかく、2002年にもらってそれからずっとアナン閣下は女と会っていないわけでもあるまいし……と穴を指摘するのは簡単ですが、しかしアシャンティにおける死者というものがどういう扱いを受けるものかは知らない我々には、正否は判断できないわけです。例えば、花の名前を付けてもらったら死後には花と同じに扱われる場所が地球のどこかにあったりしてもおかしくはないですし。

　……とやや強引に受け入れてみたものの、アシャンティ王の戴冠式で「ブスムル」は使用されるわけで、戴冠式には女はこれまで来ていないのか？、という疑問も生じます。
　また、「ブスムル」と同じとして扱われるということは、牛の血で汚してはならないことを意味し、つまり棺を運んだ人たちはしばらく前から牛肉を食べていない、ということになります。

　このようにアナン閣下は（？）妙な謎を残してこの世を去るわけですが、しかし、アシャンティ王国のほうでまた別の伝統的葬礼がおこなわれるかもしれないという話もあります。そこで堂々と遺体が公開されでもしたら、「ブスムル説」は完全に破綻します。
