　2021年6月16日、バーレーン国防軍“シャイフ【シェイク】”・ハリーファ・ビン・アハマド・アル・ハリーファ元帥（BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa）は、バーレーン王国駐箚日本国特命全権大使宮本雅行閣下（みやもと まさゆき ： Masayuki Miyamoto）と会見しました。
　参謀総長ズィヤーブ・ビン・サクル・アル・ヌアイミー中将（Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi）が同席した模様。

　同大使は今年よりバーレーンを駐箚しています。

　2020年10月18日、バーレーン国防軍“シャイフ【シェイク】”・ハリーファ・ビン・アハマド・アル・ハリーファ元帥（BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa）は、バーレーン王国駐箚日本国特命全権大使伊藤秀樹閣下（いとう ひでき ： His Excellency Hideki Itō）、海上自衛隊 護衛艦「ありあけ」艦長江澤斎高2等海佐（えざわ なりたか ： Commander Naritaka Ezawa, ARIAKE Captain）と会見しました。

　会談では、二国間関係と軍事領域での協力について話されたようです。
※護衛艦「ありあけ」は、アフリカのソマリア沖アデン湾での海賊対処のために活動中です。

　国防担当大臣アブドッラー・ビン・ハサン・アル・ヌアイミー中将（Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi）、

イタリア王室（アオスタ系統）継嗣／プッリャ公爵【称：アオスタ公爵】アイモーネ公子殿下【ロシア在住】の記事（2020年1月）「イタリアが王政復古するとは思わない」

　イタリア王室（アオスタ系統）の継嗣／プッリャ公爵アイモーネ公子殿下（His Royal Highness Prince Aimone of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Apulia ： His Royal Highness The Duke of Aosta）の記事が出ています。

※本人たちは自分たちが正統と主張しているので、すでに父の称号であるアオスタ公爵を使用しています（ときどき忘れてるんじゃないかと思う時がありますが）。

　なお、殿下は、仕事でモスクワに在住しています。ロシアに住み、イタリア王位に興味はないとする記事が出たこともあります。

　イタリア王室（直系）が継承法を絶対長幼制へ改定したことを受けて、アオスタ系統や支持者は反論を発表しましたが、それはそれとして、アイモーネ殿下のコメントを載せた記事が出ました。

　内容というか根本的な立場がはっきりしないのですが、

  • もうどちらが正統かの論争には参加しない
  • イタリアで王政復古があるとは思わない（アオスタ系の支持者団体はガックリきそうですが……）
  • イタリア共和国へ忠誠を誓うことを避ける理由はない
  • 二系統（直系とアオスタ系統）はそれぞれの道を進むだけ

　といったところが今回の主な主張だと思うのですが、一方で子供たちが先祖の伝統を受け継ぐことは望んでいるように受け取れます（先祖の伝統を受け継ごうとする限り、正統論争は避けられないのでは……）。
